This Vitality and Stress course, one of the KRI Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training Level 2 trainings, has been completely redone so that it’s cutting edge—with materials on how to change your own brain and DNA; you will not find references to Yogi Bhajan or DVD’s of his classes, and you will find materials from many wisdom traditions and practical techniques that you can immediately start using.
You will learn new materials about elementary stress—the stress caused by separation from your own path of passion and creativity, the stress of trauma and earliest adolescence, the unique stress caused by the intensity and uncertainty of the times, and the stress caused by finding ourselves with vulnerabilities.
It is the change of age; the end of a 5800-year cycle in the Mayan calendar. You’ll learn to recognize what is being born, how to transfer your energy to what’s being created and steady yourself so you can make your unique contribution.
Kartar Singh and Gurunater Kaur have embraced the need to change the way Kundalini Yoga is taught. Come and study on Zoom with teachers bringing the wisdom of many traditions to the study of human vitality and stress.
What You Will Get Out of this Course
Some examples from Days 1-3
Day 1
You’ll begin to get a framework to more thoroughly notice what you call your stress – when the inside intelligence doesn’t match the outside challenge. What are the little things that trip you up – being late, not feeling prepared, triggers, conflicts with partners. You’ll automatically begin noticing ways to increase inside intelligence.
You’ll learn to center in yourself when you feel scattered with mul bandh or tongue to the roof of your mouth.
You’ll learn the difference between going to your story (that centers you in your stress response) and your body (that centers you. In You).
You’ll learn about the Grey Period on the Planet (we’re in it), feeling your way home, a marvelous Kriya called Pittra Kriya.
You’ll start building your own stress profile.
Day 2
You’ll learn to start identifying what the course calls Elementary Stress – when you say you are “freaked out,” you feel like you are “not yourself.” This is the stress that happens when we abandon our inner Self and inhabit our stressed personality. What’s lost is our guidance system (intuition, pineal gland – the nucleus of a person-- use) and our anchor (in the body).
This is the stress when you are not you. You are following what someone else told you, some belief you have, some story.
You’ll learn a life treasure – the Kriya for Elementary Stress – a friend for a lifetime.
Day 3
You’ll begin to get to know your small group better. As people relax, they begin to learn with each other.
You’ll learn how to expand your magnetic field in order to add to your vitality – your stress tool kit.
You’ll learn a yogic perspective on compression (the natural tendency to move inside when the outside isn’t working) and depression (moving inside and filtering information through a negative lens).
You’ll learn Emotional Intelligence, the Skillful Use of Emotion. I cannot emphasize this enough. This one afternoon’s skill is worth the cost of the whole course.
You’ll learn about Depression and the Grey Period we are going through on the planet right now.
The course is a 60-hour program of which 50 hours is classroom time and twelve hours are part of home study assignments and activities to be completed after the classroom segment. Participants are required to attend all classes, pass the exam and complete the home study requirements which span the 90-day period after the course.

About our teachers:
Kartar Khalsa
has been practicing and sharing Kundalini Yoga since 1975. He gains inspiration and knowledge from various traditions and yogic scriptures, in which kundalini energy is seen as a universal concept that refers to the dormant energy at the base of our spine.

Gurunater Kaur
is a Professional Kundalini Yoga Teacher Trainer Level One and teaches 4 yoga classes a week since 1976
She is a member of IKYTA, RYT 200 and loves creating new workshops to serve her students
She is a Certified Hypnotherapist and Past Life Regression Therapist who offers Polarity Therapy, Therapeutic Touch, Sat Nam Rasayan, Reiki, The New Paradigm MDT, Chakra Balancing, and Counseling which combine to create the sensitivity and power of her classes
She designs Prayer Bead Malas made of gemstones, which the Dalai Lama and others of note had and teaches the sacred science of Mala Meditation
She is a Sikh Dharma Minister who loves playing kirtan, teaching kirtan, and plays the harmonium during her yoga classes and workshops
She enjoys teaching all three Levels of Reiki, loves doing sadhana, and seva in the Gurdwara
