Aquarian Sadhana
The Aquarian Sadhana attunes your gunas, your chakras, and your mind to the change of the Age. We will need intuition, stamina, both physical and mental, self-awareness, and a new depth of spiritual experience that can hold our identity in the face of global changes, relentless competition, information overload, and ecological and environmental challenges.
The Aquarian Sadhana is practiced by Kundalini Yoga communities across the world. Doing sadhana in a group develops group consciousness. A group sadhana practice amplifies the impact of the meditation.

Sadhana can be done as a group or individually. The ideal is to join in a group practice AND cultivate your individual practice as well.
Doing Aquarian Sadhana with a group of fellow yogis is a powerful way to poise yourself to succeed in all that you do.
Aquarian Sadhana is a 2.5-hour practice that’s so complete it offers enough to nourish your entire being: body, mind, and spirit. It will revitalize you through contact with the infinite during the ambrosial hours: 4 am – 6 am EST
We begin by chanting a beautiful poem written by the 16th-century sage, Guru Nanak. This poem is called Japji Sahib or The Song of the Soul. Chanting Japji aligns the chakras, cleanses the ten bodies, and immerses us in the sacred sound current that prepares us for a most uplifting yoga and meditation practice. Just listening to the group chant this poem, one receives deep healing.
After chanting, we tune in and practice a rigorous yoga kriya to bring vitality to every part of the body. We breathe and mentally vibrate “Sat Nam.” We prepare our bodies to sit in meditation and be open to receiving the gifts of a quiet mind and a light heart.

Translation:
Thou who savest, save us all and take us across,
Uplifting and giving the excellence.
You gave us the touch of the lotus feet of the Guru, and all our jobs are done.
You have become merciful, kind, and compassionate; and so our mind does not forget Thee.
In the company of the holy beings you take us from misfortune and calamities, scandals, and disrepute.
Godless, slanderous enemies—you finish them in timelessness.
That great Lord is my anchor.
Nanak, keep firm in your mind, by meditating and repeating His Name
All happiness comes and all sorrows and pain go away.
Wahe Guru Wahe Jio - 22 minutes
This is a mantra of ecstasy with which we establish ourselves for victory and the right to excel. Chant sitting in Vir Asan (warrior pose), sitting on the left heel, with the right knee up, right foot flat on the ground, with hands in Prayer Pose. Eyes are focused at the tip of the nose.
Wahe Guru Wahe Guru Wahe Guru Wahe Jio
Translation: "Wow, God is great!” or “indescribably great is His Infinite, Ultimate Wisdom.”
Guru Ram Das Chant - 5 minutes
This mantra is one of humility. It opens the Heart Center (4th chakra) so that we can feel and effortlessly radiate universal love. We call on Guru Ram Das in praise of his spiritual guiding light and protective grace.
Guru Guru Wahe Guru, Guru Ram Das Guru
The first part (Guru Guru Wahe Guru) projects the mind to the source of knowledge and ecstasy. The second part (Guru Ram Das Guru) means “the wisdom that comes as a servant of the Infinite.”
